This is my take on Vegeta. A reallistic drawing of the character from Dragonball. Well, as reallistic as I thought it could be.

I wanted to show Vegeta has more valor than Goku, although he is snubbed the whole show. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything to go with this that would get this point across, so I left it like that.

Let me explain. Goku has it easy. He is a natural fighter, and has a "Talent" for it, which supposedly explains his constant growth.

Vegeta, however, although a superb fighter and excellent tactician, has no such gift. He, then, has to train a lot more than Goku to get to his level, when he reaches that level, Goku has surpassed him, and he never gets the deserved appreciation in any help he gives.
Hmpf, nor does he want it. Pesky humans...

In my opinion, Vegeta's story could have taken Dragonball farther than Goku's. It's much deeper (although the creators never tried to deepen it as much as it could go...) and much more interesting than "Ok lets fight."

Drawn on printing paper with 1B pencils and painted with a Bamboo Fun on Photoshop CS2. Not sure how long drawing took, but painting took about 4 to 5 hours.

You know now that you mention it Vegeta has done alot for the show but no one even double looks him
i'd have to agree with you he is VERY underappreciated
of course a lot of the hardships he endures are self inflicted
and he's proud to be evil...
I've been looking into a pad now for a while would you reccomend the Bamboo Fun?

I must say I don't agree with his evilness, but in the end he just wants to be the best, and his last encounter with evil was because he thought the evil in him was what gave him the edge...

About the Bamboo Fun, well as a starter it's been very nice to me. It's not very expensive, it's reliable and very effective, and I once ordered tips for it and they came with heart-shaped-sweets :P
I am trying to save up for a Cintiq :P It sucks not being able to see where you're drawing.

his intentions to save the world from androids is good!
but his motives are E-V-I-L... EVIL! he's only doing it so he can detroy the world himself!

and as for the bamboo fun thanx for the info! I saw a lot of positive comments about it, but when it comes to the internet you can never be too careful.
did you order urs online? or did u actually go to like Staples or someplace to buy it?

That's what was believed in the beginning but turns out, you just need to be insanely strong to go SSJ. It's actually the anger that triggered it in both cases.
You can't tell me Goku was 100% purely kind and good when he was fighting freeza after he killed all his friends. That was pure revenge there.

I actually went to a store and bought it. You can look around to see if you find it cheaper than I did (I think mine was 99€) which you probably will.
I bought it cause I had bought a crappy 30€ one and it didn't quite work... so I replaced it with this one.

so how do you know all that?
over here the newest episode is when vegeta decides he's going to wakeup the androids and doom them all and trunks is trailing him telling him not to do it.

unless they mention it in another series or something
i just started watching the kai series last june so i'm pretty much making it up as we go here.
